My Project

As the current school year ends and a new school year approaches, I’m working hard to make sure my second graders have everything they need to feel confident, comfortable, and ready to learn from day one. But our classroom supply shelves are running low. That’s why I’m asking for your support to restock the basics: pencils, paper, dry erase markers, tissues, hand sanitizer, student name tags, name plates, storage containers, and binders.

These simple items make a huge difference.

Pencils and paper fuel our writing and math work. Dry erase markers keep our small group learning interactive. Binders help students organize their work. Name plates and tags build classroom community and help students feel seen. Hand sanitizer and tissues support student health and hygiene. And sturdy containers help us stay organized and make our classroom feel calm and welcoming.

At a high-poverty urban school like ours, not every student can bring in supplies from home. Your gift will help ensure that every child starts the year with dignity and the tools they need to succeed.
