My Project

The aim of this project is to help students get organized and ready for learning with the basic tool of organization such as notebooks, folders and pencil pouches. This is important to preserve the integrity of the learning time and to mitigate challenges that occur from inequities in the acquisition of basic resources needed by students.

Studies show that students who take notes are better prepared to be successful in the classroom; this project is aimed at supporting student organization and preparedness.

The used of composition notebooks is an easy way for learners of different abilities to organize their daily notes in class, this being supplemented with the provision of folders to better organize handouts and worksheets that complement learning. The pencil pouches will help students to organize and secure learning tools such as pencils and erasers thereby removing the need for excuses like not having basic materials after they have been provided.

The Laminator will be used to assist with leaning in providing worksheets that are erasable and for securing class materials such as task cards that student may utilize on a daily basis. Laminating cards increase their stability and longevity as students use them over multiple days throughout multiple classes.
