This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students come to school with their hair messy or not combed. The hair supplies will be used to get any or all of my students hair ready and not be shy about appearance. There are times when they are also hungry and need a snack to go for the end of the school day. Many have expressed how they do not have snacks or just need a pick me up before heading home. Having these snacks also gives them a good cheer. Lastly, they expressed how they like to have positive notes and keep them. Laminating notes will help them socially as they go home.
