Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Students should have everything they need from the first day. I never want a student to feel limited because something is missing. I want my kids to have the resources they need from the get-go. Especially art supplies that will help them express themselves in creative ways.
Although I haven't met my students yet, I just know they are going to be absolutely amazing.
I want to make sure I can have as much as possible ready and waiting for them so that they have everything they need to shine from the second they walk through the door. They will have the chance to not only learn, but also express themselves through arts and crafts and practice their skills with other supplies. I want my kids to have as amazing an experience as possible from the second they walk through the door.
My Project
My students need materials such as pencils, paper, and arts supplies to make sure they start the year off right! Crayons and markers can be used for more than just drawing. I love to use crayons in Math. Students love writing in colors, making Math more exciting for them. Classroom decorations will help brighten the environment where the learning happens and double as learning tools for the students that surround them and can help them daily. Other supplies will help me prepare daily lessons and activities for the kids.
This project will help my students know from the beginning that I am invested and want as much as possible for them.
This will help me prepare every day as well as have the materials my students need to be prepared for every activity. This will help them do their best work and shine like the bright stars I know they will be on day one!
