My students need a flip camcorder flash card for the opportunity to use 21st century technology to show their scholarly knowledge.

My Students

One teacher plus 22 students who want to share projects or read a poem. A challenge for all teachers. A Flip video camera would allow my students to record each other sharing and allow me to really hear and assess the students.

My students are scholars.

They are energetic and enthusiastic about new learning. Our school is a place where students are encouraged to seek new knowledge and share that knowledge with others. My students love to present books and poems they have written, topics they have researched or songs we have created!

My Project

"Look what I learned!" "Let me show you Mrs. S!" My students all want to show what they have learned or read the latest reader's theater script for me. It is a challenge for one teacher to hear all the students at the same time. With a Flip video camera in my classroom, the students can video each other sharing new knowledge or reading or presenting. The use of video camera in the classroom helps the students show their knowledge and for me to assess their knowledge in authentic ways. In addition to using to share new knowledge, the students will be gaining in their knowledge of how to use the latest technology.

By giving to our grant, you will be allowing my students the opportunity to grow as 21st century learners and allow me the opportunity to hear and see all my students sharing their new learning!
