This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm so excited to share with my 24 students, an early learning magazine made for Transitional Kindergarten, My Big World. My Big World is a delightful magazine that enlivens seasonal curriculum themes with playful text and bright photos.
All of my students attend a Title 1 School with an ESL background.
My Big World incorporates active learning, including movement, song, discussion and hands-on investigations. Our class will actively read the magazines in class and send them home to share with their parents or caregivers. These magazines are a great way to get families engaged with our class.
