My Project

Quiz Bowl competitions and cubing competitions provide my students with opportunities to extend their knowledge beyond the required classroom standards. Quiz Bowl in particular broadens students' knowledge base. To prepare, my students practice questions that range from all across the subjects including history, geography, math, science, and literature. Quiz Bowl also fosters collaboration and teamwork. Cubing competitions enhance cognitive skills and establish strong problem-solving skills. In my classroom, I use cubing in such a way as to introduce concepts such as algorithms and order of operations.

My classroom is in need of buzzers and cubing supplies to prepare for our final competitions of the year.

We have been working hard all year towards these final competitions and now we are in need of some supplies to be able to compete as some of our buzzers and cubes have broken. Help us get ready for our competitions.
