My students hate to write! The elementary writing curriculum has taken a backseat in grades K-6. Each year, students fall further and further behind in their writing abilities because we aren't given a solid way to instruct. We need to change that, and this Expanding Expressions Tool is the way I plan to change this.
The Expanding Expression Tool (EET) helps build oral expression, written expression, and vocabulary comprehension.
Students quickly learn each symbol and consistently describe and define objects and items, providing 6-7 details in an organized manner. It allows students to quickly progress from word to phrase to paragraph to multi-paragraph levels.
