This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are young learners who have limited access to printed literature and need the opportunity to read from an organized classroom library center. The materials I are requesting will help us organize our classroom library and help them increase their vocabulary and reading skills. It is important to help them fall in love with reading at young age and teach them to pick the just perfect book in an organized environment. With your help I can organize our classroom library materials allowing my students to easily find the perfect book that is of their interest and reading level. Together we can help them increase their reading fluency and comprehension.
