Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are future scientists, tech innovators, engineers, artists, and mathematicians eager to change the world. My students are passionate about learning, and your donation will make it possible for them to solve real-world problems through critical thinking and design processes.

Vex Go teaches the fundamentals of STEM through fun, hands-on activities that help young students perceive coding and engineering in a fun and positive way!

My goal for this project is for my students is to build a robot using the VEX GO Construction Kits and motors and compete against each other on the four different themed games provided by Vex. Students will learn programming, engineering, design, problem-solving, leadership skills, collaboration, and communication skills – all skills that are critical for developing the 21st-century skills that are needed for future employment.
