This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My middle school science students love hands-on projects. They beg for opportunities to build and create! I recycle tons of material but need some additional building pieces to support my students in their force-and-motion Rube Goldberg machines.
Students will be challenged to build an apparatus using at least 3 simple machines in order to make a sound.
This engaging project requires a lot of materials, and this project will enable all students to have a successful in-class STEM experience. These materials will supply every student with a kit to create either a chain reaction or a marble run during the engage and explore portion of the unit. The materials will also be used for the final building portion of the unit.
