My Students
African American, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, Caucasian... The wonderful melting pot of my kindergarten class. My students are energetic, funny, inquisitive, and strong. They are so excited!
Our school includes low-income students, with 100% of them receiving free lunch.
They come from homes with wonderful parental involvement but minimal resources.
My students are very eager to learn new things. I want to be able to afford them different opportunities to learn many new things by using different materials and different avenues.
My Project
Due to limited space in our classroom, my students need seat sacks to store their supplies. A seat sack will be provided to each student. The students will use the seat sack to store their classroom books and daily work. The seat sacks will also be used to store their supplies, such as, crayons, pencils, and glue. Because our classroom has limited space, the seat sacks may also be used to store the students' extra clothing.
The seat sacks will allow the students to have more space on their tables to work and explore new things without having their books and supplies in the way!
