it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our resource classroom, we prioritize creating a supportive environment where students can self regulate and refocus when feeling overwhelmed.
Our calm down corner is a vital space equipped with sensory tools and fidgets that help students manage big emotions so they can return to learning.
These items get a lot of use throughout the year and often need to be replaced due to wear and tear. This gets costly over time. With your support, we can refresh our calm down corner with new, effective sensory tools that help our students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn each day.
