Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is a reset and refresh for my 17 firsties who share my classroom! As we approach the end of the year, our classroom necessities like glue, headphones, post-its, and craft paper have dwindled. To finish the year strong I am requesting glue, headphones, colored paper, post-it notes, stickers, and a visual timer. What I know my students are going to be most excited about is the new classroom timer. My students love to know how much time they have to complete an assignment and this visual timer will allow them to see the time they have left. Another exciting addition will be the light covers. My students and I enjoy soft lighting- it allows them to feel more warmth and comfort. These covers will allow us to use our ceiling lights but will create a calmer and softer light.
