My Project
The Science of Reading recommends using decodable texts to help children master basic reading skills, including phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency. My goal is to build my decodable reader library to help my students achieve their reading goals!
I want my students to have a variety of fiction and non-fiction books to peak their interest in reading! The book sets that I have selected will provide my students with a wide variety of titles and subjects. This will allow each child to find a book that is both interesting, and appropriate for his/her reading ability.
