This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project contains books that will let my students apply new skills learned as new readers. There are decodable books included for my newest readers as well as fun and engaging high interest books for my more skilled readers.

I will use some of these books for small groups.

The decodable readers introduce short and long vowel patters for my new readers.

I will use the other books for DEAR (drop everything and read) Time. At this time during our day, students can choose a just right book to read.
