My Students
Our school is filled with incredible students who love to come to school every day! They are such happy individuals with so much empathy and curiosity! The staff at our school learns as much from the students as the students do from us about life and the world.
In my class of amazing second grade class over half of the students speak a language other than English at home.
My students bring many different cultures from around the world into our classroom every day, creating a rich and deep learning learning environment.
It is an amazing environment to teach about difference because it is so evident. I am truly indebted to my students for all they teach me about life and their culture.
My Project
This project is asking for fun, engaging, beginner chapter books for our boys. Often our struggling boy readers are unmotivated by texts and with the funding of this project our boy readers won't want to stop reading.
This project ask for fun series like Bad Guys and Kung-Fu Chicken.
These series are loved by all, but especially engaging for boys who love adventure, humor and action.
These books would be used during our daily independent reading time with students from kindergarten all the way to fifth grade. With your support, we could greatly increase the love for reading with our boy student population! Thank you for your support towards our school and students.
