Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Project
I teach upper elementary students at a Title 1 school, where many of our families face financial challenges and cannot provide state-of-the-art equipment at home.
Despite this, more than half of our students come from homes where education is valued, but they need the right tools to succeed. This project will give my students the opportunity to thrive in a digital classroom, making learning more accessible and inclusive, especially for those with reading disabilities or language barriers. Whether they’re writing book reviews, publishing a classroom newspaper translated from their native language, or engaging in creative projects, new technology will open up endless possibilities for them to grow and express themselves.
With the help of these tools, students will be able to use programs that support them as they type reports, boosting their confidence and giving them the chance to share their work with peers. The printer—once a staple in every office—will become an exciting, functional part of our digital classroom, helping to bring their creations to life. From STEM to language arts, history, math, and science, technology will enhance every subject, keeping students engaged and motivated.
