My Students

Our school is located in a low middle class neighborhood. About 80% percent of our students receive free or reduced lunch. I have a variety of students in my class. Some have been at the school for years, and many have siblings attending also.

In the classroom or in the community, we are one big family.

My Project

All of my students enjoy being outside. More importantly, playing outside has proven to be beneficial to students. Because of the ongoing pandemic, we are limited in what we can do. I am asking for these materials so that when my students go outside they will have supplies they need to exercise and enjoy the outdoors; as well as developing sharing skills and working together. The materials I've chosen will allow the students to play alone or with classmates. Either way, it will make for a more pleasant experience at school.
