My kindergarten students are eager to learn. Children who are eager to learn need to be offered varied instructional opportunities. Kindergarten is where many of our students will develop their lifelong love of learning. Many of our students are coming to us from lower income households of diverse backgrounds.
As an educator I strive to create an exciting environment where we take chances, discover, and excel.
Building a strong foundation is the key to future learning success. Without that strong start, the foundation of education will crumble. My ultimate goal is to give students a lifetime love of learning for their future success.
My Project
My kindergarten students are the youngest of learners. My goal is to provide them with a system of organization to make learning fun and easy. Having a place to store materials and allowing the students the flexibility and independence of accessing these materials further their confidence. It gives them the freedom for success and allows them to take chances throughout their learning. Color-coded bins help the students recognize what materials belong to them and getting the materials for a lesson becomes a smooth transition. Teaching organization is a key component for students to develop good methods for learning that will hopefully stay with them for life.
