This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"We want to be our BEST!" That is a phrase we keep repeating in our class. We have thirty-two little bodies overflowing with excitement and a need to learn. Thirty-two wide eyed, smiling faces trusting me to help them reach their best.

These second graders know it's important to work hard and make sacrifices, but there should be no sacrifices in our classroom.

My second graders deserve a bright, warm, welcoming environment that will keep them motivated to come to school and BE THEIR BEST!

My Project

My second graders are held to high expectations. I want them to be independent and take ownership of their environment. One thing we are hoping to improve is organization. They are currently using their book boxes to store their work and it's not working out.

Students will learn to manage their work, collect their "correspondence," center work, and home-school communication.

By helping them to be responsible for their work, I hope to guide them into independence and organization skills.

This group of amazing second graders is ready to take on the challenge! All we is patience, practice and your support!
