My Project

Students love having the choice to sit at a tall table or to sit on the floor for more flexible seating. The cushions and floor tables encourage students to obtain ownership and independence with their own learning. The classroom is more inviting with different choices of where they get to sit. I no longer have to have specific seating, but give students more choice. The PE equipment can be used by the students outdoors to enhance their physical and mental well being. Diversity is so important to my beliefs as a teacher.

My students deserve to have these items because there are very different types of learners.

I want to emphasize that choice is a big part of learning and becoming independent. I want to give my students to have the tools to become independent, responsible learners even with these small changes and additions to m classroom.
