Ready, Set, Learn: Reading, Math & Writing!

Help me give my students reading, math, and writing materials to start the 2025–2026 school year strong. These tools will support engagement, growth, and confidence in all core academic areas.

My Project

What makes my students special is their strength, perseverance, and desire to learn—even when school feels challenging. I work with students in grades 1 to 5 who all struggle with reading, writing, and math. Many of them need individualized support, visual aids, and repeated practice to grasp foundational skills. Despite these challenges, they show up each day eager to grow, ask questions, and celebrate small wins. Their curiosity and effort inspire me to give them the tools they need to succeed.

The materials I’m requesting—such as reading and math manipulatives, writing tools, and visual supports—will give my students multiple ways to access learning.

These tools will help make abstract ideas more concrete, break down complex tasks, and offer the kind of hands-on learning that keeps them engaged. For example, math manipulatives will support problem-solving and number sense, while sentence frames and story maps will help students organize their thoughts and express themselves in writing.

My goal for this project is to start the 2025–2026 school year fully prepared to meet my students’ academic needs from day one. With these resources, I can create a learning environment that’s structured, responsive, and full of encouragement—where students feel safe to take risks and celebrate their progress.
