Ready, Set, Kindergarten!

My students need sit spots to help them stay in their own personal space while at morning meetings and whole group lessons. The paint and scissors will help my students develop fine motor skills.

My Students

Kindergarten classes at our school are very diverse. We have many English Language Learner (ELL) students that are learning English in our classrooms. We have students that are eager to be at school to learn and grow! Majority of my students come from a lower socioeconomic background. School is a place where they can escape, learn, laugh and socialize with classmates their same age.

My energetic kindergarteners enter the classroom ready to learn, discover, and explore!

Kindergarten is such an amazing and wonderful year for children. They learn and grow so much in such a short amount of time. Kindergarten students are like little sponges ready to learn and absorb all this new knowledge.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The sit spots will help my students sit in their own space during morning meetings and whole group lessons. The paint and scissors will help my students practice fine motor skills to help them with their writng help then grow as learners.

These donations will help my students have a fabulous kindergarten experience this year!

As a first year teacher these donations will truly help my students have the most successful they can. Kindergarten is such a vital year for children. Kindergarten sets the foundation for the rest of their education.
