My Project
Growing Into Young Scientists
Our 3rd -grade students are embarking on an exciting scientific journey to explore the fascinating world of living organisms!
We are creating an interactive learning environment where students will observe and study different life forms through various engaging systems. Our project includes a hydroponic growing system to learn about soil-less plant growth, sea monkeys to study aquatic ecosystems, an ant farm to observe insect colonies, and a root viewer to examine plant development up close.
Through these hands-on experiences, students will develop crucial scientific observation skills, learn about different ecosystems, and understand the basic needs of living organisms. The hydroponic system will demonstrate modern farming techniques, while sea monkeys will teach about adaptation and life cycles. Our ant farm will showcase social insect behavior and colony organization, and the root viewer will allow students to witness the usually hidden process of plant root development.
