This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come to me curious about the world and with lots of questions. The STEM Lab is a hands-on learning space where they are encouraged to discover some of the answers they are seeking.
This project is intended to resupply the lab with some of the materials needed during the next school year.
The requested materials include owl pellets for 4th graders to study during a unit on food webs, fast growing brassica seeds for 2nd graders to plant and observe while studying life cycles, and play dough for our Kindergarteners.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
