Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are hardworking, dedicated, and have been making the best out of a very difficult and trying time. They are a great bunch of kids and are so excited about being 5th graders, the “seniors” of our school. We want them to be able to enjoy learning regardless of the very unique circumstances and feel happy and successful in school both in person and remotely.
My Project
Getting the classrooms ready for the arrival of students, I want to stay organized so that everyone feels welcomed, comfortable, and at ease. Teaching in an ICT class and group work is definitely going to look different this year, my partner and I need to stay in sync, so the use of timers is essential. Social emotional learning is vital, so arts and crafts activities is a great way for students to relax and communicate their feelings.
Considering the circumstances, this new school year needs to be as stress-free as possible for students, parents, and teachers.
Teachers wear so many hats and we want to do the best for our students always.
