My Students
The start of a new school year is a fun and exciting time. Preparing for Kindergarten is an especially exciting time for children and their families. When my students arrive, I want to make sure they have everything they need to have an amazing, an enriching school experience.
My students are Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten aged students.
They have special needs such as Autism, Speech/Language Impairments and Health Impairments. They participate in an Early Childhood Program on a public school campus. My students are working on developing academic, language and social skills. Many of them have the ability to meet grade-level standards with modifications and accommodations.
My Project
I want to make sure our school year gets off to a great start. We need two Hold a Ring walking ropes. These ropes make traveling around campus with the entire class easy. It helps me to ensure that all students stay together by holding onto their colored ring.
I am also requesting table top supply caddies. These caddies will be used to organize materials for small and large group activities and centers. Each caddy will be able to hold pencils, crayons, glue, scissors and anything else we might need to run our centers. Everything is easily accessible.
The ten frame magnetic answer boards will be essential for whole group math lessons. Children can use these boards to write out equations, draw to show work and use magnetic counters to demonstrate number sense skills.
Help us get our school year off to a great start!
Your donation means we can travel our campus safely, our centers will be organized and that my students will be able to practice common-core based math skills.
