This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are full of energy, excitement, and potential. They love participating in sports and physical activities, but many of them don’t have the proper gear to fully enjoy these experiences. As newcomers and immigrants, they face many daily challenges, yet they show up eager to learn, play, and be part of a team.
This project will give students the chance to feel prepared, confident, and included during gym class and sports activities.
The gym bags will help them safely carry their shoes and clothes, while the scrimmage pinnies will allow us to organize fair and exciting team games.
These tools will help them stay active and healthy, teach them responsibility, organization, and teamwork. My goal is to create a space where every student feels proud and ready to participate, no matter what they have or don’t have at home. These small resources will make a big difference in their school experience.
