My students need a teacher with tools and resources! In order to plan, prepare and execute high quality, rigorous, engaging and culturally responsive lessons I need the Reader & Writing Strategies Books by Jennifer Serravallo.

My Project
In this project I have pulled many of the top "GO TO" teacher resources such as The Reading Strategies Book and the Writing Strategies Book by Jennifer Seravello! These resources will directly impact student learning by providing students with strong anchor charts, clear graphic organizers and anchor papers. I requested the Fountas & Pinelle Guiding Readers & Writers to support Balanced Literacy planning so that I am able to support my students in having rich conversation on culturally responsive grade level texts. I requested the quick write handbook to be used during English Language Development and Writers Workshop this will motivate students in engaging writing topics. These resources focus on intervention and supporting the needs of English Language Learners.
I am excited to start mapping out the upcoming school year with the support of these rich resources and tools to directly impact student engagement in reading & writing.
These resources will provide students with organizational tools the need to be successful. I am focused on providing differentiated instruction for each and very student. My students will benefit from the resources by having strong anchor charts and mentor texts! I look forward to a classroom full of collaboration and which discussion! I know my students are excited to start reading and writing!
