My Project

The majority of my students are at-risk, low-income students. However, they are the most resourceful and upbeat kids you will ever meet. They are appreciative of every positive thing that happens to them. I plan to use the fitness equipment to help train and physically develop students and help them achieve their full potential. The treadmill, stationary bikes, dumbbells, and other weight lifting equipment are needed to help achieve and maintain the strength and physical demands of scholastic athletic activities. Students will be taught how to properly strength train and how to take care of the equipment. Through strength and conditioning training, I will be able to improve students' physical skills and overall athleticism as they participate in various strength and conditioning regimens; it will also help encourage participation and cooperation with students of diverse multicultural backgrounds and different skill levels.
