Ready, Set, File! Organization Made Fun and Easy!

My students need filing carts and folders to easily file their completed assignments in an organized manner.

My Students

My school has been serving K-6 students, both military dependents and local residents, since 1956 as part of the Hawaii State Department of Education. My classroom integrates a remarkably diverse population that includes Filipinos, Caucasians, African-Americans, Samoans, and Asian-Americans.

I am an elementary school special education teacher, teaching students where small groups, close proximity, and acceptance is very important.

My students range in abilities and grade-levels, which makes my classroom a fun and unique environment to be a part of.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students' learning and improve their lives in school by providing a fun, colorful, unique, different, and really easy way to file their assignments.

These supplies will allow students to independently monitor their assignments and manage their work.

Items needed to carry-out the organization are:

1. Hanging file folders to individually assign students a folder for their individual needs.

2. Hanging folders with metal clips on the edges to easily mark what they are filing and to separate different assignments.

3. Two hanging file folder carts to easily pass around the classroom and be ready for students to file assignments with ease and without teacher assistance.
