Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Resilience is the main word I would use to explain our students! The past few years they have survived a Hurricane, freeze and mold renovations that left our 3-5 graders without our home campus for half the school year. Also, our community was hit extremely hard with the pandemic. Many of our supplies were lost or ruined during the mold complications that plagued us after the hurricane. In spite of all that they persisted. I am so proud of each of our students and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them!
My Project
Our students deserve the best! My dream is for our students to walk into the Science Lab and be amazed and ready to explore, create and design. From beginning to the end of our Science lesson I want to peak students interest and want them to be mesmerized by the activities and creations made in our Science lab.
The science behind matter, planets, extreme weather, wind turbines are just a few of skills that will be learned in our amazing, creative, new Science lab.
I can't wait to see the learning and joy in action.
