I would like to teach healthy eating habits through our school garden. Students will be responsible for planting and maintaining the plants as well as promoting healthy eating to the rest of the school. Gardening boxes and equipment are needed to improve our school garden. We are in the process of rebuilding and improving our garden since Hurricane Harvey. My goal is to introduce as many students to gardening and healthy food options to make them realize how easy it would be to grow a garden of their own. Teach a student to grow their own food and they will never go hungry.
