This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"It's not about what it is; it is about what it can become." Dr. Seuss.
I have the pleasure of working with outstanding children.
They come to school prepared to learn and try their best every day. I teach in a Title I school with a high population of non-native English speakers. Our school is located in a low-income area, with most students receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
I focus on the potential and growth of the children in my room. That growth is measured in student joy and love for learning, their engagement in classroom activities, and their desire to share their learning at home!
My Project
My students have been given the opportunity to use iPads as they reinforce skills that we are learning in phonics, reading, math, science, and coding. In order to fully implement the iPads into our daily lessons we need a place to charge them and keep the iPads organized. We need a Belkin Store and Charge Multiple Tablet Charger with Surge Protection to enhance the performance and increase the use of our iPads. The built-in cable management minimizes tangles and clutter and provides space for ten outlets for future expansion to our technology.
My students are motivated and inspired to learn with technology.
A charging station that requires a small foot print will insure devices are always charged and allow students to practice newly learned skills. First grade students will have the opportunity to fully implement iPads into their daily lessons and learning centers. Thank you for considering our needs!
