We are a second grade classroom of enthusiastic learners. We come to school ready to work hard, and have a positive outlook on our education. Our classroom consists of many different levels, modalities of learning, and a wide variety of interests and backgrounds.
We strive to make sure our second grade classroom is a safe environment for all students.
We love to learn through art, music, dance, and hand on activities. We are excited to build our skills together during this year.
My Project
This year our class is focused on integrating visual and performing art in order to enhance our learning everyday. I would like to be able to provide a variety of materials that students can use in their artistic endeavours.
My goal this year is to provide students with different art mediums to show their knowledge of our content areas while also giving them options to express their individuality.
I would like to not only develop our painting skills, but in sculpture too, such as making their own national monument, creating their own setting of stories, and so much more. The sky is the limit!
