Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being halfway through the school year, we have used almost all of our school supplies. Working in an inner city school district, I have parents who will bring in materials for their child, while the rest simply can't afford to do it.

My students' Homework Folders and Centers Folders have ripped, been torn apart, gone through rain, and have crumbled so badly that we simply just need new durable ones!

Without the essential materials, how can they learn?

These folders will help my students with our remaining lessons and activities that are left to teach such as Science, Social Studies (using cups and crayons to create three-dimensional Community Helpers), our bulletin Boards, and our Fun Friday Projects (coloring self-portraits on how we feel).

We want impactful learning to take place and continue until June with the right resources, but I can't do it without your help!

Thank you for supporting my students by knocking down the barrier to resources that are necessary for their success. I very much appreciate your consideration in this matter and sincerely hope you will view my request favorably and provide the requisite funds.
