My Students
I am so lucky to teach in a self-contained K-2 Social-Emotional-Behavioral Support Classroom. The students in my class exhibit severe and pervasive emotional and behavioral disabilities which affect their overall psychological and academic functioning.
These children benefit from a highly structured, therapeutic environment and comprehensive proactive behavior management strategies in addition to curriculum instruction.
My students are improving their social-emotional skills through explicitly taught coping strategies and dramatic play. Please help me provide an appropriate and engaging classroom environment!
My Project
As we begin the 2020-2021 school year, new and unexpected needs are arising. In order to keep our community healthy, students will be learning from the comfort and safety of their own homes. As their teacher, it is my duty to create a positive virtual learning environment.
While students are engaged in virtual learning, it is crucial that they are able to clearly hear and communicate with their classmates and teacher.
These headsets will allow students to focus on their learning and drown out any distractions happening around them. I hope that these headsets allow students to feel connected to their teachers and friends.
