My Students

My sixth grade students are becoming interested in science and taking their first daily science class.

My sixth grade scientists attend a turnaround school in an urban area.

Many of my students have not had the strongest educational foundation and they are striving to catch up to their peers around the world. My students deserve a high quality educational experience and your support will allow them to participate in the rite of passage---the science fair!

My Project

The science fair boards will be used for the school wide science fair in which individual students will independently complete projects of their interest. The science fair will be an opportunity for students to shine and show off what they have learned in science class. In addition to science fair boards, I am requesting books about science fair projects and certificates to celebrate their success!

The materials in this project will allow my students to become stronger scientists and critical thinkers.

These materials will relieve the cost of the science fair boards from the students and their families.
