This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The new school year is fast approaching! I want to welcome my new second graders with the supplies that will help them develop into lifelong learners. I am requesting book pouches and pencil boxes.
These materials will help them organize their books and supplies.
The book pouches will be used for their reading books. These books will be kept safe within the pouches and each student will have their own. The pencil boxes will store their pencils, crayons, erasers, scissors, glue, and any other supplies that they will need throughout the year. I always like to get the pencil boxes ready before the start of the year and have it ready for them. It's a great way of welcoming them into the class!
