My Students

I have a kindergarten classroom filled with 27 vibrant, busy students with big, bold personalities. Our days are filled with whole group learning, centers, RTI, and activities so we are always on the move. My classroom is busting at the seams! I have a full time classroom aid to help throughout the day. My kiddos are from a rural area where parental involvement is low so emotional support is very important. I have 8 students who are in speech/language and 3 with other IEPs. My project is designed with my next year's class/students in mind.

My Project

Starting a new year with new students is always exciting and challenging, but not having the supplies to aid in everyday activities is difficult. We are limited on physical space as well as a special needs aids. I want my classroom to be stocked with the materials that my students will need for the upcoming school year. My classrrom has a specific need for a no spill spoon and a weighted vest along with reading and math manipulatives.

Our school is located in a rural area where funds are low for classrooms, and although we work very hard to get the items we need, sometimes we are just not able to get them.

My goal is to have the things my students need to be successful in life as well as school. Please help support my project.
