My Students

I am a 5th/6th grade Math teacher. My students are from Cleveland and come from low-income families. All of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Despite these challenges, my students come to school every day ready and eager to learn.

My Project

Recess is a time for students to get physical movement that will help them learn in the classroom, grow, and keep healthy. Giving students a variety of sports equipment will give them all an opportunity to be active in different ways at recess, while being able to build healthy relationships with their classmates. This equipment will allow students to try new sports or activities that they might not have access to at home.

Physical activity will promote students physical, mental, and social health.

I appreciate everyones support in helping keep students active at recess.
