My Project
I have the amazing opportunity to work with multiple grade levels and as a result, I get to know hundreds of amazing students. When I push into classrooms for read aloud time and to build classroom culture through discussions, I am part of the great community that spans several decades in the heart of old Henderson. Our school has been a fixture of the community and has numerous long standing and beloved traditions, one of which is celebrating the diversity of our families.
Help me give my students the necessary picture books and mentor texts to create a classroom climate that celebrates diversity, individuality, growth mindset, family, culture, and love.
