Having a grasp of basic mathematically concepts are essential to understanding math problems as you move up in your grades. The students in my school are eager to learn and creating an environment that will help foster their academic success. We are part of a proud community school that supports students in all aspects of academic life. Attempts are often made to support students financially but money is not always available to support the extras. Doing everything I can to help this process is one of the goals as an educator.
My Project
Summer is finally here!! Statistics states that students lose 60 % of what they learned over the summer. As an educator, I see plenty examples of students being behind when schools resume. Having an online math resource like Zeal will ensure students will stay on target of what they learned during the previous school year. These materials will make a BIG difference in the lives of the students that are selected to participate in this program. Because of the online resource students will return to school ready for the next grade. This will give them so much pride in knowing that using the resource over the summer helped them show progress in math.
