My Project

So many of our students today come to school missing fundamentals and seek safety and security at school. We find unique tools to help them that won’t interfere with learning but instead will encourage learning and calm the students anxiety. These tools can be costly but they are so effective. Some examples are standing desks, wobble stools, weighted stuffed animals, squishy toys and such things that allow the students to fidget and move but focus. While this coming week is teacher appreciation week, I am asking donors to consider helping me acquire some calming tools and a few books for my classroom. They are well used and enjoyed by all students and they open up so many possibilities for kids to access learning.
