Our students show up to school each day excited to be back in the classroom. They are active participants who are kind to one another and bring a variety of backgrounds to our learning space. It is such a joy seeing them engage with our learning and to watch their eyes light up with a smile behind their mask.
Our school community is a strong one with 75% of students qualifying for free lunch.

My Project
Our third grade team is thrilled to present our students with a choice novel study. Throughout the year, students don't often have the opportunity to make a book selection based on interest, but rather are required to read the next story in our curriculum. With this novel study, students in three classes will get to select a reading group based on interest, and will join that teacher to engage in vocabulary, reading comprehension, and character development. The books we have selected reach across genres and represent the various backgrounds in our community. We are so excited by this opportunity and are incredibly thankful to those that can help make this happen!
