My Project
My students are eager to learn and to read independently. Many of the students at our school do not have access to books at home, so we strive to provide as many choices as possible for them.
Struggling readers will often pick up a comic book or colorful book because the pictures and visuals are less intimidating and are more inviting.
By adding a variety of such books to the Reading Zone in our classroom, students become excited to read!
Finding the right book can be the gateway to better reading skills for reluctant readers. My students will love getting their hands on these awesome new books!
