My Students

I teach a multi-age classroom in a rural area. The kids range in age from 5 to 8. They love nature, playing, and learning.

Many have found it difficult to adjust to the new world they have been forced into.

Not only are they not going to school anymore, but they also can't see their friends and family.

Distance learning has posed a new difficulty for them both in the format as well as the schedule. For many of them, routine brought feelings of comfort, and these changes have disrupted that feeling.

My Project

These items will help keep my students' minds healthy. There are books to read, snacks to fuel the brain, and materials to write about it all!

My students need fuel to stretch their minds!

The science activity books will give them plenty to do and plenty to learn. The notebooks and pencils provide us a way to record our scientific observations. We love reading Elephant and Piggie books at school, and now they will have one of their own!

The snacks will give them the fuel to keep their mind going and their bodies active!
