This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Due to COVID-19 many of our students have had a hard time finding their "just-right" book and gaining the necessary abilities that each grade level requires. With this project, I want to help resolve this issue. Through this donation it will allow my students to work together in book clubs and discuss their thoughts, connections, predictions, and much more.
I fully believe that these group sets and individual books will aid in gaining skills in their phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension abilities which will aid their writing and speaking skills.
More than half of students from low‑income households
