Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school is excited to host a special author visit with Kierra Sheard, a Grammy-nominated singer and author of Kiki Finds Her Voice... Help us provide copies of this inspiring book for our students.

We will prioritize literacy and performing arts with this meaningful author experience to ignite a passion for reading and self-discovery among our students.

This project will provide books to empower students to find their voices through literature and connect with a talented author who shares her experiences and accomplishments. We aim to empower vocal students to find confidence and purpose. Your donation will impact aspiring vocalists and storytellers in our school community! Thank you for considering our project.
